ANDRE SMITH: AN MVP IN CASERTA'S HEART

Andre Smith [Basketinside.com]
Two games left, JuveCaserta keeps his rights on Italian Serie A, thanks to the game won against Avellino a week ago.
Last wednesday another W for Sacripanti's band against leading force Reyer Venezia 83 - 80.
Heroes of the game are Andrija Stipanovic (Croatian center '86) scoring 20 points and 11 rebs, and as usual, Andre Smith ('85, Pensack Sport), top scorer of the game with 21 pts and 10 rebs.
Croatian-born Center is not famous to be a great scorer, but against opposite back-court showed a lot of tricks under the rim, scoring often on offensive rebound.
At the same time, American PF collected another 20/+ points game (13 in this season, high vs Milano 32) and 8th double pts/rebs (11 vs Venezia).
Another game, another great game for Andre, even if Caserta lost @ Ancona. Smith score 20 points, 10 rebounds and 28 of ranking.
These are only a few of the great numbers signed by former-Karsiyaka.
He leads the league in ranking and points, 20.4 and 18.3, and he's 4th in rebounds and 5th in 2-point shot percentage. He was called in AllStarGame team, a selection of best strangers of the League, too.
At two games to the finish (Caserta hasn't a seat in post-season), he can reach the MVP Trophy, first Caserta's player to reach this goal since Juve come back in Serie A.
A Great result for Juve, and also for Andre, loved by staff and fans who ask him to keep playing with the team for next championship.
It's too early to talk about his future, but a place in Caserta's heart, is already conquered .
